Stress & Anxiety

Stress and anxiety are some of the most common but yet uncomfortable emotions that we can experience. Through counseling, support and collaboration, we can help recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.

Self-Esteem

Self-Esteem is how we value and perceive ourselves. It is based on our own personal beliefs and can sometimes feel very hard to change. Self-esteem can influence one’s overall well-being. Through mental health counseling, we can find ways to build self esteem and cope with experiences that have affected how you feel about yourself.

Foster Care

The foster care system was created to protect children from unsafe environments. While, foster care can lead to positive outcomes, it does not come with out challenges. Many children as well as foster families may experience multiple or abusive placements, court battles, and above all, an ongoing state of uncertainty. I personally understand the emotional rollercoaster that comes with the foster care system and, as a mental health counselor, I am here to help navigate the process and support your journey.

ADHD

ADHD symptoms can lead to a variety of behaviors that may make everyday tasks feel challenging or even impossible. I focus on three areas of concern including conflict resolution, motivation and self-efficacy, and self-esteem. While maintaining all the positive aspects of someone diagnosed with ADHD.
